CareerDad Partner Program Terms

These Partner Terms apply when you join or promote CareerDad through the CareerDad Partner Program. They supplement the CareerDad Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

For a public overview of the programme, read the CareerDad Affiliate Programme hub. These Partner Terms remain the source of truth for commission, attribution, validation, and payout rules.

1. Commission Rules

Partners earn 35% on eligible CareerDad SaaS plan purchases, including Sprint and Accelerator.
Partners earn 30% on eligible premium human-delivered services, including Dream Job Accelerator.
At the current published prices, examples include Sprint at R97 earning R33.95, Accelerator at R247 earning R86.45, Dream Job Strategy Session at R997 earning R299.10, and Dream Job Accelerator at R2,997 earning R899.10.
Opportunity Engineering is application-only/custom priced. If an eligible paid service checkout is created, the premium service commission rate applies to the eligible paid amount.
Free users do not generate commission unless they later convert to an eligible paid purchase.
Lifetime customer attribution applies after the first valid affiliate attachment. If that customer later upgrades, repurchases, or buys another eligible CareerDad product or premium service, the original valid partner may earn commission again on that later eligible purchase.
Commissions are grouped by the calendar month they are earned.
Manual payouts follow the month-earned payout schedule: earned month plus two calendar months, paid on day 1 of that payout month.
January commissions are scheduled for payout on 1 March, February commissions on 1 April, March commissions on 1 May, and so on.
Approved unpaid commission may be included in a manual payout batch once it reaches the R250 minimum threshold, unless CareerDad approves an exception.
No commission is paid on refunded, reversed, duplicate, rejected, or flagged transactions.

Exact payout amounts depend on the current published price at the time of purchase, the applicable commission rate, and the eligibility rules above.

2. Attribution

CareerDad uses partner links with the via parameter and an optional campaign parameter. The 90-day referral window applies to anonymous click-to-signup attachment. Once a customer is validly attached to an active partner, CareerDad treats that customer as lifetime-attributed for future eligible paid purchases unless CareerDad changes the program rules.

Later affiliate clicks may still be tracked for analytics, but they do not overwrite an already-attributed active customer. The original valid partner remains the commission owner for the customer's future eligible purchases.

3. Privacy Boundaries

Partners may see referral and commission reporting, such as clicks, campaign labels, eligible package names, commission status, and commission amounts. Partners do not see buyer CVs, uploaded documents, interview answers, job descriptions, private profile data, email addresses, payment card details, or account content.

4. Required Partner Disclosure

Partners must disclose their affiliate relationship where appropriate for the channel they use. A simple disclosure such as "I may earn a commission if you buy through my link" is usually clearer than hiding the relationship.

5. Prohibited Promotion

No spam, deceptive outreach, fake accounts, bought traffic, cookie stuffing, forced clicks, or misleading redirects.
No self-referrals or attempts to earn commission on your own purchase.
No claims that CareerDad guarantees jobs, interviews, salaries, ATS pass results, refunds, or hiring outcomes.
No promotion that implies Dream Job Accelerator or Opportunity Engineering guarantees employment, company adoption, or employer approval.
No use of CareerDad branding in a way that suggests you are an employee, official support channel, or payment processor.

6. Fraud Review

CareerDad may flag, reject, reverse, or withhold commissions for self-referrals, duplicate payments, refunds, reversals, suspicious same-device or same-IP hash patterns, unusually high refund or reversal rates, misleading claims, disabled or suspended partners, disabled referral codes, or other abuse signals. Hashed IP and hashed user-agent values may be used for fraud prevention.

7. Manual Payouts

Payouts are not automatic. CareerDad reviews commission by earned month, creates payout batches for the relevant payout month, pays manually outside the app, and then marks the batch paid. Earnings from January are paid on 1 March, February earnings on 1 April, and later months follow the same earned month plus two months schedule. Do not treat dashboard values as cash owed until the commission is approved and paid.

Partners are responsible for keeping payout details accurate. Incorrect banking or payout details may delay manual payout.

8. Changes and Termination

CareerDad may update these Partner Terms, pause the Partner Program, suspend a partner account, or reject commission where needed to protect users, comply with law, or prevent abuse.
